- 1 kilogram Asparagus
- ½ organic lemon
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 20 grams butter
- 2 Tbsps lemon juice

Preparation steps

Peel the asparagus with an asparagus peeler from below the head and up to the ends. Cut off any woody ends if necessary.
Add the lemon juice to a large pot of boiling water along with the salt and sugar. Boil for about 20 minutes until done.

Arrange the asparagus on a plate and serve drizzled with melted butter and garnished with a lemon slice.
