- 2 onions (chopped)
- 1 stalk Celery (finely chopped)
- 1 carrot (finely chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- 2 Tbsps Curry powder
- 1 tsp Chili powder
- 2 Tbsps Tomato paste
- 14 ozs canned Tomatoes (chopped)
- 2 cups peas (fresh or frozen)
- boiled Rice (to serve)

1 Skillet, 1 Bowl, 1 Small bowl, 1 Cutting board, 1 Large knife, 1 Small knife, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Teaspoon, 1 Mandoline, 1 Sieve, 1 Whisk, 1 Mortar, 1 Salad spinner
Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oil in a large pan and gently cook the onions and celery until soft but not browned.

Add the carrot and garlic, cook for 2 minutes then add the curry powder and chilli and cook for one more minute, stirring all the time.
3.
Stir in the tomato paste then add the chopped tomatoes and about 2 cups of water. Season with salt and pepper then cook gently for 15 minutes, stirring from time to time.
4.
Add the peas, cook for 10 more minutes then check the seasoning and serve with boiled rice.
