- 400 grams mixed Berry (such as, strawberries, blackberries and redcurrants)
- 200 grams Cherries
- 1 lemon (juiced)
- 2 Tbsps sugar
- 300 milliliters Apple juice
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- Whipped cream (for serving)

Preparation steps
1.
Rinse, trim and drain the berries. Cut the strawberries in half or quarters depending on the size. Rinse, pit and drain the cherries.

Boil the lemon juice with the sugar and apple juice.
Mix the cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water until smooth and slowly pour into the juice. Simmer while stirring until it thickens.
Add the berries and cherries and simmer with constant stirring for 2-3 minutes, so the berries begin to fall apart but remain slightly lumpy. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.

Pour the red fruit sauce into bowls and serve with cream.
