- 4 Tbsps Canola oil
- 250 milliliters Red wine
- 150 milliliters Beef broth
- 500 grams Hokkaido pumpkin
- 500 grams Yam
- 2 Tbsps sauce thickener
- salt
- peppers
- Chili powder

Preparation steps

Cut beef into cubes and season with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a pot, sear beef on all sides, deglaze the pan with wine and broth and simmer for about 30 minutes.

Peel pumpkin and yam, cut in half lengthwise, remove seeds, cut into 2 cm (approximately 1 inch) wide cubes. Add pumpkin and yam to the pot, simmer for another 20-30 minutes. Add broth to the pot. When meat and vegetables are tender, season with salt, pepper and chili powder. Arrange on plates and serve.
