- 3 cups rump Steak (thinly sliced)
- 3 Tbsps dry sherry
- 2 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic cloves (crushed)
- 1 ¼ inches freshly grated ginger (peeled and grated)
- 2 large carrots (cut into very fine sticks)
- 1 ⅔ cups Broccoli (cut into small florets)
- 2 Tbsps Oyster sauce
- To serve
- boiled Rice

Preparation steps
1.
Season the steak with salt and ground black pepper and toss together with the sherry. Cover and leave to marinate for 5 minutes.
2.
Heat the oil in a large wok or skillet and fry the onion for a few minutes.
3.
Add the garlic, ginger and carrots for 2 minutes until softened slightly.
4.
Stir in the beef, sherry and broccoli and stir-fry for 3 minutes turns brown and the broccoli is becoming tender.
5.
Pour over the oyster sauce, cook for 1-2 minute and serve immediately.
