Bacon Quiche Tarts

Heat the oven to 180°C (160°C in a fan oven), 350°F, gas 4 and grease four ramekins - 7-8 cm diameter.
Cut the pastry into 16 squares 12 x 12 cm. Spread 4 squares with some melted butter and place another sheet on top. Spread again with butter and place another square on top. Continue like this until you have four squares made up of four layers of pastry each.
Place each pastry square in a prepared ramekin.
Fry the bacon until crispy. Remove and pat dry with kitchen towel.
Mix together the cream and cream cheese and add the bacon, chives and cheese. Season with salt, ground black pepper and nutmeg. Pour the mixture over the pastry squares and crack an egg into each one.
Bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove from the oven, arrange on plates and serve immediately.
