Melon (honeydew melon, diced)

white Currants
½ cup
sugar (more or less as desired)

lemon (juiced)
crushed Ice

Preparation steps

1.
Place the melon and currants in a pot. Add the sugar, lemon juice and 500 ml water and bring to the boil. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
2.
Purée the mixture, leave to cool and sieve through a fine cloth. Wring out well and retain the juice. Leave to cool completely.
3.
Serve in glasses of crushed ice and dilute with mineral water if desired.
