Star anise
3 Styrofoam balls (different sizes)
1 Hot glue gun (with cartridges)
1 tube Acrylic paint (dark brown)
1 Brush

Preparation steps

1.

Paint balls with the dark brown paint, then let dry. Heat up hot glue gun.

2.

Use hot glue to attach star anise to ball, leaving as little free space as possible. Fill in gaps with broken stars. 

3.

Let dry completely. Place finished balls on gold plates and display with fir branches.
