- 4 slices Farmhouse bread
- 2 Tbsps butter
- 1 Tbsp chopped marjoram
- 600 milliliters Chicken broth
- 200 milliliters dry white wine
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 200 milliliters Whipped cream
- 4 egg yolks
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- Nutmeg
- cinnamon
Preparation steps

Heat the butter with the marjoram and fry the bread. Boil the broth and the wine and whisk well. Bring to a boil.

Whisk the cream with the yolks. Remove the soup from the heat and stir in the cream. Beat the soup over low heat with a whisk until smooth, do not let the soup boil. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Pour into bowl. Garnish with cinnamon and serve with toasted bread.
