½ cup butter
¾ cup crunchy Peanut butter
¾ cup light brown sugar
1 egg (beaten)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour (heaped)
1 tsp Baking powder
2 ½ ozs white chocolate (chopped)

Preparation steps

1.
Heat the oven to 170°C (150° fan) 325°F gas 3. Grease a 20cm|8" square baking tin.
2.
Beat together the butter and peanut butter in a mixing bowl until very soft.
3.
Add the sugar, egg and vanilla and beat until well combined.
4.
Sift in the flour, baking powder, stir gently until blended, then stir in the chopped chocolate.
5.
Put into the tin and bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden and almost firm in the centre.
6.
Cool completely in the tin, before cutting into squares.
