Syrup Candy Fruit
1 Pot, 1 Small bowl, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Cutting board, 1 Large knife, 1 Small knife, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Wooden spoon, 1 Immersion blender, 1 Aluminum foil
Insert a lollipop stick into each pear.
Heat the sugar, syrup, vinegar and water in a pan over a low heat until melted. Bring to a boil and cook steadily until a little of the mixture forms a soft crack when dropped into cold water. 140°C|280°F on a sugar thermometer. Remove from the heat and stir in the colouring.
Dip the pears into the toffee, swirling them around until coated. Dip the pears into the nuts or coconut and place on non-stick baking paper to set.
