- 4 milk bread rolls (e. g. hot cross buns)
- 3 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup cream (at least 30% fat)
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 2 Tbsps brown sugar
- ¼ cup raisins
- soft butter (for the baking dishes)
- 1 ½ ozs Dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa, chopped)
- 1 ½ ozs white chocolate (at least 20% cocoa butter, chopped)
- To dust
- powdered sugar

Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oven to 180°C (170°C in a fan oven), 350°F, gas 4.

Slice off the tops of the rolls and shred the rest. Beat the eggs with the milk, cream, cinnamon and sugar in a bowl. Mix in the raisins.
3.
Butter four small oven-proof bowls. Divide the shredded rolls into the bowls and pour on the egg-milk mixture. Sprinkle some of the dark and white chocolate over each and place the bread lids on top. Bake for approx. 20 minutes.
4.
Remove the bowls from the oven and dust with icing sugar and cocoa to serve.
