Preparation steps
1.
In a large pot bring salted water to a boil.

Process the flour, eggs, nutmeg, milk and salt together in a bowl to form a firm dough, about 10 minutes. Spoon the spaetzle dough into the ricer and press into the boiling salted water. Cook for a few minutes. The noodles are cooked when they come to the surface.
3.
Remove the spaetzle from the water with a slotted spoon, drain and serve in melted butter.
