- 300 grams Pastry flour
- 150 grams Quark (drained)
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 50 grams sugar
- 50 milliliters milk
- 50 milliliters vegetable oil

- 750 grams Sour cream
- 500 grams Sour cherry (in glass container, drained)
- 2 eggs
- 100 grams sugar
- ½ lemon (juice and zest)
- 50 grams almonds (slivered)

Preparation steps

For the base, mix quark with sugar, milk and oil until smooth (preferably with the dough hook of a hand mixer). Add baking powder and knead into a smooth dough. Roll out into a sheet and place in buttered baking dish.

For the cream, beat eggs with sugar until frothy. Add sour cream, lemon zest and lemon juice and spread on the dough. Add cherries evenly on top and sprinkle with almonds. Bake in preheated oven at 180 ° C (approximately 350 ° F) for about 35-40 minutes or until golden brown. Cool and slice to serve.
