- 250 grams Mushrooms (mushrooms and shiitake)
- 2 onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 Tbsps soybean oil
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 2 Tbsps Pastry flour
- 250 milliliters Vegetable broth (vegan)
- 200 milliliters Non-dairy cream
- 1 tsp freshly chopped thyme
- 1 tsp ground paprika

Preparation steps

Cut the seitan into strips. Trim the mushrooms and leave whole depending on the size or cut into pieces. Peel the onions and chop finely. Peel the garlic and chop finely.
Heat soybean oil in a pan and sear the seitan in it until brown. Season with salt and pepper, and remove from the pan. Saute the mushrooms in the same pan until brown, season with salt and pepper, and also remove from the pan.
Saute the onions in the same pan until translucent, sprinkle with flour and pour in the vegetable broth. Stir in the non-dairy cream and simmer for about 10 minutes until slightly creamy. Add the seitan, mushrooms and thyme, sprinkle with paprika, and leave until done for about 5 minutes.
Before serving, season to taste and serve with white bread.
