- 1 sheet ready-made Puff pastry
- 12 Tomatoes
- 2 sprigs rosemary
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 Tbsp caster sugar
- salt

Preparation steps
1.
Preheat the oven to 200°C | 400F | gas 6. Wash the tomatoes and slice them in two.
2.
Put the chopped butter in a round cake tin. Add the sugar and place over a low heat. When the butter has melted, add the rosemary sprigs and place the tomatoes in the tin, wedging them closely together.
3.
Cook for 15 minutes, turning the tomatoes regularly so that they are slightly caramelised. Season with salt and pepper.

Take the tin off the heat and lay the puff pastry over the tomatoes. Press down the pastry between the sides of the tin and the tomatoes using the handle of a tablespoon to help you.
5.
Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes.

Take the tart out of the oven and place a lid over it to deflate the pastry. Leave to stand for around 10 minutes and then turn out onto a plate.
7.
Serve immediately.
