1 cup small brown Lentils (found in any Turkish grocery store)
1 cup short grain rice
150 grams Pasta (Best if very small macaroni, found in any Italian shop)
1 Tbsp butter
200 grams puréed Tomatoes (canned)
1 tsp Tomato paste
5 garlic cloves
4 shallots
salt
freshly ground pepper
Red pepper flakes

Preparation steps

1.

Cook the lentils, rice and noodles separately, according to the packages.

2.

Boil the tomatoes with the tomato purée. Add salt, pepper and chili to taste.

3.

Peel the shallots and cut into rings. Fry with the garlic in the butter until everything is lightly browned. Stir in the tomato sauce.

4.

Put lentils, rice and noodles in a bowl and add tomato sauce. Serve sprinkled with chilli flakes.
