Preparation steps

1.

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C / 340 ˚F

2.

Rinse and dry rhubarb, cut into 2 cm (approximately 3/4 inch) long pieces. Separate eggs. Beat egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff. Whisk egg yolks with quark, sugar and custard powder until foamy. Fold in egg whites. Line the bottom of a shallow baking dish (about 2.5 liters capacity) (approximately 10 cups) with biscuits and drizzle with orange juice. Spread half of cream on biscuits. Arrange rhubarb pieces and top with remaining cream. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for 25-30 minutes. Immediately after baking, dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.
