- ¼ tsp Ground clove
- ¼ tsp Chili powder
- 1 Pumpkin (2 kilograms)
- 250 milliliters unsweetened Coconut milk
- 2 Tbsps butter

Preparation steps

Remove the top of the pumpkin, remove the seeds and pulp (leaving a 1 cm wide margin). Finely dice about 500 grams (approximately 18 ounces) of the pumpkin.

Peel and finely chop the onions and garlic. Place the onions, garlic, meat and all spices into a saucepan. Cover with about 1 liter (approximately 4.5 cups) of water. Cover the pot and simmer for 1.5 hours. Add the pumpkin and simmer for another 15 minutes. Add the coconut milk and simmer for another 15 minutes. Remove the meat, dice and add back into the soup. If necessary, add a little water. Season to taste and serve in the pumpkin.
