- 1 Tbsp butter
- 2 garlic cloves
- 500 grams starchy potatoes
- 1 ⅕ kilograms thin Leeks
- salt
- Fat (for the baking dish)

- Nutmeg (freshly grated)
- 200 grams Whipped cream
- 500 grams Reblochon cheese
- Fat (for the baking dish)

Preparation steps
1.
Peel the onion and garlic, chop finely and cook until translucent in butter.
2.
Peel potatoes, rinse and cut into very thin slices. Trim leeks, rinse, and cut the white and light green portions into pieces. Blanch in boiling salted water for 2 minutes, plunge in ice water and drain well. Cut rind off of cheese and cut cheese into small cubes.
3.
Place potatoes and leeks in a greased baking dish, sprinkle with the cheese cubes and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Combine cream with the onion-garlic mixture and pour over potatoes and leeks. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) on the center rack for about 50 minutes.
