- 1 ¼ cups Dark chocolate
- 1 cup cooking Dark chocolate
- 1 drop Peppermint oil
- 24 Wafer (round)
- Glitter (to decorate)
Preparation steps
1.
Melt the milk chocolate in a bain marie. Leave to cool slightly and then transfer into a a freezer bag with the corner cut off or a piping bag. Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper and pipe the numbers 1-24 onto it. Leave the numbers to dry slightly, then place another piece of baking paper on top and press gently using a palette knife. Leave to dry completely.

Melt the dark chocolate in a bain marie and stir in the peppermint oil. Pull the wafers through the melted chocolate using a praline fork. Place on baking paper to dry.
3.
Remove the numbers from the baking tray and place on the still slightly soft peppermint thins. Press down gently and sprinkle with gold glitter. Leave to dry, then package as an Advent calendar.
