- ½ cup unsalted butter
- ½ cup caster sugar
- vanilla extract
- 1 large egg (beaten)
- 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ¼ cup Candied cherry (chopped)
- ⅓ cup raisins
- ¾ cup Chocolate chip

Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oven to 180°C (160° fan) 350°F gas 4. Line 2 baking trays with non-stick baking paper.
2.
Beat the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until creamy. Beat in the vanilla and egg until smooth.
3.
Sift in the flour and bicarbonate of soda and stir into the mixture with the oats, cherries, raisins and chocolate chips.
4.
Drop small spoonfuls, well apart onto the baking trays. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden, but still soft. Cool on the trays, then place on a wire rack to become cold.
