Nut Cereal Bars
- For the filling and the coating
- 200 grams powdered sugar
- 150 milliliters Whipped cream
- Walnut (about 100 grams, chopped)
- Hazelnuts (about 100 grams, chopped)
- 100 grams Oats (chopped)
Mix the flour with salt, chopped butter, egg yolks, cocoa and milk and knead quickly into a dough. Place on a baking sheet lined with foil. Prick dough several times with a fork and bake in preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix the powdered sugar, cream and nuts and oatmeal to form a viscous dough.
Remove the tray from the oven, let cool and sprinkle with the oatmeal-nut mixture. Let cool and cut into pieces.
Divide the bars and place so the bottom half and a top half lay on the other, so that there are 4 layers of the bars. Cut into even pieces.
Wrap one half of the cooled bars in foil.
