- 6 sheets red gelatin
- 700 grams Watermelon (seedless)
- 60 grams sugar
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- Apple juice (as needed)
- 150 grams honeydew melon

Preparation steps

Soften gelatin sheets in cold water.

Cut watermelon flesh into small cubes and puree half with sugar and lemon juice. Add enough apple juice to watermelon puree to measure 500 ml (approximately 2 cups). Squeeze gelatin sheets well and heat with 2 tablespoons watermelon puree mixture to dissolve. Stir dissolved gelatin into puree mixture. Distribute remaining watermelon cubes among serving glasses. Pour gelatin mixture over watermelon cubes and refrigerate until set, about 3 hours.

Cut honeydew with a melon baller. Arrange honeydew balls over gelatin as desired and serve immediately.
