- 100 grams Rice
- salt
- 1 garlic clove
- 4 Tbsps Corn oil
- 2 scallions
- 100 grams Cherry tomatoes
- 150 grams Ground meat (pork)
- 2 Tbsps sherry
- freshly ground peppers
- 1 ½ liters Chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp Fish sauce
- 2 Tbsps freshly chopped parsley

Preparation steps

Rinse the rice in a sieve under running water, then cook in plenty of salted water, drain, and set aside. Peel garlic, chop and fry in hot oil. Remove from heat and let cool, then puree.

Rinse scallions and cut into thin rings. Rinse the tomatoes and cut into quarters. Place pork in a bowl and season with sherry, salt and pepper. Shape into meatballs of about 2 cm (approximately 3/4-inch) diameter. Season the chicken broth with a little pepper and fish sauce and bring to a simmer in a pot. Add the meatballs and simmer for 1 minute.

Add the rice, scallions and cherry tomatoes and cook briefly. Pour the soup into bowls. Serve sprinkled with parsley.
