- 400 grams Mushrooms (such as small button mushrooms, chanterelles and chestnut mushrooms)
- 2 red Pepperoncini
- 8 sprigs thyme
- 4 fresh garlic cloves
- 4 fresh bay leaves
- 500 milliliters mild olive oil
Preparation steps

Clean the mushrooms and cut into small pieces if necessary. Remove the stems from the mushrooms. Rinse the pepperoncinos and halve lengthwise. Rinse and dry the herbs. Peel the garlic and pass through a press.

Add the mushrooms, pepperoncinos, garlic, and herbs to jars. Add enough olive oil to cover all of the ingredients. Place in the refrigerator to marinate.
3.
When the olive oil is cold, it can be cloudy and can harden. Warm the mushrooms to room temperature before using.
