24 raw shrimp (head-on, shell-on)
4 garlic cloves
5 sprigs Basil
4 Tomatoes
500 grams Linguine
salt
30 milliliters olive oil
200 milliliters dry white wine
2 pinches instant Chicken broth
freshly ground peppers

Preparation steps

Rinse the shrimp and pat dry with paper towels. Peel and chop the garlic. Rinse and dry the basil, then chiffonade the leaves. Remove the stems from the tomatoes, and blanch in boiling salted water for 30 seconds. Remove from the water, and peel the tomatoes. Cut the tomatoes into quarters, then remove the seeds and finely dice. Cook the linguine in boiling salted water according to the package directions until al dente.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet. Add the shrimp and cook for 1 minute per side. Mix in the garlic and tomato, then add the white wine. Add the chicken broth and the basil to the pan. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, then season to taste with salt and pepper.  Drain the linguine, add to the pan, and toss to combine.
