Preparation steps

1.

Separate the kale leaves, cut off the thick stems, and slit the veins in the middle to flatten. Rinse the leaves well and blanch for 5 minutes in plenty of salted water. Drain, rinse with cold water, drain again well, and finely chop. Peel the onions and dice. Heat the butter and sauté the onions. Cut the sausage into large pieces share, poke several times with a toothpick, and add with the kale to the onions.

2.

Pour in hot broth and simmer over low heat, covered, for 30 minutes. Remove the sausage and cook for another hour. Peel the potatoes, rinse, cut in half, place in a pot with salted water, and cook covered for 25 minutes. Mix the oats into the kale. Add the sausage back in along with the well-drained potatoes. Season before serving with salt, pepper, and allspice.
