- 1 cup raw cane sugar (demerara)
- 2 Cardamom (split pods, extract seeds)
- ¾ cup Ghee
- 1 Tbsp Cashews (chopped)
- 1 Tbsp Cashews (chopped)

- 1 ⅓ cups Chickpea flour
- Coconut milk (as required)
- brown sugar (to roll the sweets in)

Preparation steps
1.
Place the sugar in the food chopper. Add the cardamom seeds and chop finely.
2.
Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan and fry the chopped pistachios, almonds and cashews until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.
3.
Add the remaining ghee to the pan, heat it and sprinkle in the chickpea flour. Fry until golden brown, stirring continuously. Stir in the sugar and nuts and mix well.
4.
Take the mixture off the heat, let cool briefly and use a teaspoon to remove small portions, rolling each one between your hands into a small ball. If the mixture is too dry, stir in a little coconut milk.
5.
Roll the balls in demerara sugar and keep in an airtight container.
