Ingredients

For the pork skewers
2 tsps dried oregano
freshly ground peppers
1 Tbsp lemon juice
6 Tbsps olive oil
600 grams Pork (steak meat)
For the salad
1 Cucumber
4 ripe Tomatoes
1 Red Bell pepper
250 grams Feta (in brine)
2 Red onions
70 grams black pitted Olives (quartered)
4 Tbsps olive oil

Preparation steps

For the skewers, mix oregano, pepper, lemon juice and 3 tablespoons olive oil. Season with salt. Rinse the pork, pat dry, cut into 2 cm (approximately 3/4 inch) cubes and place in the marinade for 25 minutes.

In the meantime, for the salad, rinse vegetables (except for the onions). Cut the cucumber into thin slices. Cut tomatoes into quarters, remove stems, and cut into small cubes. Halve bell pepper, seed and cut into small cubes. Drain the feta and dice. Peel the onions and cut into strips. Mix the vegetables with the feta and the oil and season with salt and pepper.

Thread the marinated meat on skewers and cook on a preheated grill on each side for 4-5 minutes. Arrange the salad and the skewers on plates and serve with fresh baguette, if desired.
