Preparation
Kitchen utensils
1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 1 Large knife, 1 Bowl, 1 Whisk, 1 Garlic press, 1 Wooden spoon, 1 Teaspoon, 1 Small skillet, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Pot, 1 Sieve
Preparation steps
1.
Butter bread slices on both sides. Using a small glass or cookie cutter, cut a 2-inch hole in the middle of each slice of bread.
2.
Preheat griddle over medium heat. Place buttered bread on griddle. Drop a dab of butter into the center of the bread, Crack the egg into a small bowl, gently pour the egg into the hole. Repeat the process with the remaining slices of bread. Season with salt and pepper.
3.
When the eggs begin to set around the edges of the hole, flip and finish cooking the eggs to your preferred taste (over easy, over medium, etc. ). The bread "centers" can be grilled also.
4.
Combine fresh fruit and divide among bowls. Sprinkle with sliced almonds and spoon your favorite yogurt over the top. Serve.
