150 grams prepared Sushi rice
Vinegar water (for molding)
200 grams
1 tsp Wasabi
½ toasted Nori seaweed

Preparation steps

Divide the sushi rice into 8 portions. Moisten your hands with vinegar water to shape the portions into oblong balls. Cut the unagi into 8 pieces and put some wasabi on the bottom of each. Lay each piece of eel, wasabi side down on a rice ball. Press gently with the tip of the left thumb against the rice ball so that it retains its shape. Turn the nigiri sushi and possibly reshape it with two fingers.

Cut the nori into 8 strips. Moisten the ends slightly and wrap each nori strip around the nigiri so that the ends are on the bottom. Arrange the unagi nigiri rice side down to serve.
