- For the base
- 2 cups Bread flour (plus extra for dusting)
- 1 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- ⅞ cup warm water
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- For the topping
- 1.333 cups Strawberry Jam
- 1 cup Mozzarella (sliced)
- 1.333 cups sliced Strawberries
- 1 Tbsp finely chopped almonds
- To garnish
- Basil
Preparation steps
1.
For the base: mix together the flour yeast and salt in a mixing bowl. Make a well in the centre and pour in the water and oil. Mix to a soft, fairly wet dough.

Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5 minutes until smooth. Put into a lightly greased bowl, cover with a tea towel and leave to rise for about 1 hour until doubled in size.

Heat the oven to 200°C (180° fan) 400°F gas 6. Grease a baking tray.

Quickly knead the dough and roll out into a large round about 25 cm|10" in diameter. Place on the baking tray and brush the top with olive oil.

Bake for 10-15 minutes until cooked through. Cool slightly.

Reduce the oven temperature to 180°C (160° fan) 350°F gas 4.
7.
Spread the jam on the pizza base.
8.
Arrange the mozzarella and strawberries on top. Sprinkle with almonds.
9.
Bake for about 5-7 minutes until the cheese has melted.
10.
Tear some basil leaves into strips and leave some whole. Sprinkle on top of the pizza.
