- 2 kilograms gherkins (of the same size as possible)
- salt
- 1 Tbsp allspice
- 1 Tbsp cilantro
- 4 Tbsps Mustard seed
- 4 Cinnamon stick
- ½ l White vinegar
- 75 grams sugar
Preparation steps

Rinse the cucumbers, cut into thin slices, sprinkle with salt and let stand for about 2 hours. Then rinse and pat dry.

Mix the allspice with coriander, mustard seeds and cinnamon sticks and divide into prepared jars (rinsed with hot water). Fill the jars with cucumber slices.

Boil the vinegar with 0.5 liters (approximately 2 cups) of water, 2 tablespoons salt and the sugar and pour over the cucumbers until thoroughly covered. Place lids on the jars, close tightly and turn upside down. After 10 minutes, flip the jars back over and let cool. Store in a cool and dark place.
