- 6 cups Chicken broth
- 2 cups large, fresh Pumpkin (hollowed; optional for serving)
- 1 cup onions (finely chopped)
- 1 clove garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 ½ tsps salt
- ½ tsp thyme
- ½ tsp peppers
- ½ cup whipping cream
- 1 large, fresh Pumpkin (hollowed; optional for serving)
- ½ cup Pumpkin seed (for garnish)
- fresh Chervil (for garnish)
Preparation steps

In a large heavy saucepan, heat all ingredients except cream; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered for 20 minutes. Slowly add cream and cook until heated through, about 5 minutes. When ready to serve, garnish with pumpkin seeds and chervil.

If serving in hollowed pumpkin, warm hollowed pumpkin in a 350º F oven for 20 minutes, prior to serving.
