- 4 Chicken thigh (or 8 chicken drumsticks)
- salt
- peppers
- ground paprika
- Fat (for the pan)
- 2 slices Bacon (cut into large pieces)
- 4 carrots (peeled, cut into matchsticks)
- 2 stalks Leeks (rinsed and sliced)
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 2 shallots (finely chopped)
- ⅛ l white wine
- ⅛ l Chicken broth
- 4 Tbsps Crème fraiche
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
Preparation steps

Rinse chicken legs and pat dry. Season with salt, pepper and paprika. Place in a greased roasting pan and roast in preheated 200°C (approximately 400°F) oven for 35 minutes.

Cook bacon in a frying pan. Remove and set aside. Melt the butter in the pan and sauté carrots and shallots. Add leeks and sauté briefly. Pour in wine and broth, cover and simmer about 5 minutes. Remove cover and simmer until liquid is slightly reduced. Stir in cream fraîche and season with salt and pepper.

Serve chicken served with vegetables and bacon.
