- 3 Tbsps butter
- 2 cloves garlic cloves (peeled and minced)
- 3 cups fresh Mushrooms (sliced)
- 2 cups white wine (divided)
- 1 pkg Cheese tortellini (12 ounces)
- 1 ½ cups deli ham (sliced in strips)
- 1 ½ cups frozen peas (partially thawed)
- 1 ½ cups half and half cream
- 3 Tbsps Corn starch
- salt (to taste)
- freshly ground Black pepper (to taste)
- 0.333 cup Parmesan
Preparation steps

In a large saute pan, set over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Add garlic and mushrooms and saute for 3 to 4 minutes. Add 1 cup white wine and continue cooking for 3 to 4 minutes.

Bring a pot of water to the boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions.

Meanwhile, add the ham and peas to the saute pan and add the the remaining cup of wine and saute for 3-4 minutes. Add the half & half, reduce temperature to low-medium heat, once the half & half is hot, add the cornstarch one tablespoon at a time. Stir constantly until the sauce thickens, about 3 to 4 minutes.

Season to taste with salt and pepper, serve over the pasta, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
