- 1 ½ cups self-rising flour
- 2 tsps Mixed spice ((i.e cinnamon, ginger, cloves, cardamom)
- 1 pinch salt
- ⅔ cup sunflower oil
- ¾ cup light brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 9 ozs carrots (grated)
- To finish
- powdered sugar

1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 1 Peeler, 1 Box grater, 1 Bowl, 1 Citrus juicer, 1 Teaspoon, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Knife, 1 Large knife, 1 Toothpick oder bunte Partysticks
Preparation steps

Heat the oven to 180°C / 350°F. Grease a 2-pound loaf pan and line the base with non-stick baking paper.

Sift the flour, spice and salt into a mixing bowl. Stir in the remaining ingredients until well mixed.
3.
Pour into the pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, until firm to the touch and a skewer inserted into the middle comes out clean. Cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then place on a wire rack to cool completely.

Once cool, sift a little powdered sugar over the top before serving.
