- 9 ozs Puff pastry
- flour
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 1 cup grated Parmesan
- 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese

Preparation steps
1.
Line a large baking tray with non-stick baking paper.
2.
Roll out the pastry on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle. Brush the pastry with some of the beaten egg.
3.
Sprinkle the grated cheeses on top. Fold the pastry over lengthways and press firmly together.
4.
Brush the top of the pastry with more egg and cut into 8 x 1cm|1/2" wide strips, then cut each strip in half and twist. Place on the baking trays and chill for 10 minutes.
5.
Heat the oven to 220°C (200° fan) 425°F gas 7.
6.
Bake for 10-15 minutes, until golden brown and puffed up. Cool on the baking tray for a few minutes, then place on a wire rack to cool completely.
