- 1 tsp gluten-free Baking powder

- ⅔ cup Maple syrup
- ½ cup unsweetened apple sauce
- ¼ cup Almond milk
- ¼ cup Coconut oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ⅔ cup vegan chocolate chips

Preparation steps
1.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (160° fan) | 350F | gas mark 4. Grease and line a 30 cm | 12" x 18 cm | 7" x 5 cm | 2" baking tin with greaseproof paper.

Combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and a pinch of salt in a large mixing bowl. Whisk together the maple syrup, apple sauce, almond milk, coconut oil, and vanilla extract in a mixing jug.

Add the wet ingredients into the dry, folding to combine with a spatula. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwaveable bowl in 30-second intervals on high. Let the melted chocolate chips cool slightly before folding into the batter.
4.
Scrape the batter into the prepared tin and bake for 35 - 40 minutes until a cake tester comes out just clean from the centre of the brownie.
5.
Remove to a wire rack to cool. Cut into portions and serve.
