- 7 ozs Dark chocolate (70 % cocoa solids)
- 4 ozs Milk chocolate (30 % cocoa solids)
- ½ cup butter
- 2 Tbsps Crème fraiche (30 % fat)
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup chopped Macadamia Nuts
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsps Baking powder
Preparation steps

Heat the oven to 180°C (160° fan) 350°F gas 4. Line a 23cm|9" square tin with non-stick baking paper.

Melt the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering (not boiling) water. Remove from the heat. Stir in the crème fraîche and allow to cool slightly.

Beat the eggs, sugar and salt in a mixing bowl until creamy and the sugar has dissolved. Gradually add the cooled chocolate mixture.

Mix together the nuts, flour and baking powder and stir into the chocolate mixture.
5.
Pour into the tin and smooth the top. Bake for 30-35 minutes. A skewer inserted in the middle should come out with a few crumbs, but not be wet. Cool in the tin and cut into squares.
