- 2 Tbsps Californian almonds
- 4 Tbsps honey
- 2 tsps Almond liqueur
- 250 milliliters milk
- 2 Tbsps cornstarch
- 150 grams fresh Strawberries
- 1 stalk fresh mint
- 2 Tbsps Orange juice

Preparation steps

Chop almonds coarsely, then blend with 2 tablespoons of honey, almond liqueur and 50 ml (approximately 1/4 cup) of milk and stir in the cornstarch.

Bring almond milk mixture to a boil. Pour into two bowls and let cool. Rinse strawberries, pat dry, trim and chop. Pluck and chop mint leaves. Set some strawberries aside for garnish. Puree the rest of the strawberries with the orange juice and the honey. Add mint and mix. Serve with the custard and the strawberries on the side.
