- 1 Cucumber
- salt
- 50 grams Walnut
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 bunch Dill
- 500 grams Yogurt
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- 4 Tbsps crushed Ice cubes

Preparation steps
1.
Peel cucumber, halve lengthwise and remove seeds with a teaspoon.
2.
Cut cucumber halves into very small cubes.
3.
Place cucumber in a colander and sprinkle with salt.
4.
Let cucumber sit for 15 minutes to release some water.
5.
Rinse cucumbers, place on paper towels and pat dry.
6.
Finely chop walnuts.
7.
Peel garlic and finely chop.
8.
Rinse dill, shake dry and pluck leaves.
9.
Finely chop dill.
10.
Mix together cucumber, yogurt, garlic, dill and walnuts. Season with salt and stir in the olive oil. Place yogurt soup in the refrigerator for at least one hour to chill.
11.
To serve, stir in crushed ice. Ladle into bowls and garnish with a slice of cucumber and some dill if desired.
