- 4 small yellow Ornamental gourds
- 8 Plum tomato
- 2 Tbsps chopped parsley
- 1 Tbsp thyme
- salt
- 1 tsp Chili powder
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- 4 scallions
- 250 grams Mozzarella

Preparation steps

Rinse ornamental gourds, cut off the top like a lid and carefully remove the pulp with a spoon. Rinse and halve the tomatoes, cut out the stem, quarter and cut into small cubes. Peel garlic cloves and squeeze. Wash scallions and chop finely.

Heat oil and saute garlic, scallions and tomatoes over medium heat for 1 minute. Season with salt, chili powder, parsley and thyme. Spoon the tomato filling into the gourds. Cut the mozzarella into cubes and distribute on top of the tomato filling. Broil in the oven for 1 minute or until the mozzarella is golden brown. Serve warm, with a little white bread as a small appetizer.
