Parmesan not only adds great flavour to sage pasta, but is also rich in the mineral calcium. This keeps bones and teeth healthy and strong. Those who value a healthy digestion and a long-lasting satiation can replace the ribbon noodles with a wholemeal variant; these have a higher fibre content.

Preparation steps
Cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente.
Melt the butter in a small saucepan and fry the sage briefly.
Drain the pasta, mix with the sage and butter and arrange on the plates. Season with pepper and serve sprinkled with Parmesan.
