1 tsp vegetable oil

4 Dried apricot
6 Tbsps cream cheese

1 duck leg (boneless, ready to cook, cut by butcher)
8 slices Bacon

Preparation steps

Peel the carrots and grate. Heat oil in a pan, saute the grated carrot, remove the pan from heat. Add the cheese to the sauteed carrots. Add paprika to taste, season with salt and pepper, and mix well. Chop the dried fruit into small pieces and add to the carrot mixture.

Stuff the carrot mixture into the duck. Sew the openings with toothpicks or with kitchen twine. Cover the stuffed duck with bacon, plum stuck, apricot and rosemary, and place in a roasting pan. Cover the pan with aluminum foil.

Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (fan: 180°C, gas mark 3) (approximately 400°F) for about 50 minutes. Remove the foil and bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (fan: 140°C, gas mark 2) (approximately 320°F) for about 20-30 minutes. Serve on a plate.
