- 400 grams Pasta shell
- salt
- 150 Peas (frozen)
- 150 smoked Pancetta (lean)
- 1 untreated lemon
- 1 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 3 Tbsps olive oil
- 2 Tbsps scallions
- freshly ground peppers

Preparation steps
1.
Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. During the last 3-4 minutes, add peas and continue to cook. Cut the pancetta into pieces. Grate the zest of the lemon and squeeze the juice.

Peel onion and garlic and finely chop. Sauté both with the pancetta in hot oil for 2-3 minutes. Deglaze with some lemon juice add the zest and the chives. Add the drained pasta and peas to the pan, thinning with a little cooking water as needed. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
