- 600 grams Pumpkin (such as Muskat)
- 2 Tbsps butter
- 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tsp honey
- 150 milliliters Vegetable broth
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- ½ lemon (juice)
- 4 Smoked pork chops (smoked pork cutlet, about 200 g)
- 2 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp scallions
Preparation steps

Cut pumpkin into cubes and fry in hot, melted butter. Add ginger and minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Deglaze with broth. Mix in honey. Cover and simmer 15-20 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice.

Fry Kassler in medium-hot oil, 3-4 minutes per side. Season with salt and pepper and serve with the pumpkin on plates. Garnish with chives.
