Ingredients

300 grams fresh Rose petal (Untreated, washed)
1 l boiling water
To fill the jars
per 3 Rose petal (a color, untreated)

Preparation steps

1.

Put 1/3 of the rose petals in a large bowl without any bitter whites and pour the boiling water into the bowl. Let soak for at least an hour and let cool slowly. Strain the liquid through a sieve. Discard the boiled petals.

2.

Rinse the bowl and put another 1/3 of the petals in it. Bring the rosewater back to a boil and pour over the petals. Let soak an hour, strain, and repeat a third time with the remaining petals.

3.

Rinse the roses and dill and shake dry. Arrange in glass jars. Slowly pour in the rose water. Close the lids and decorate with rafia. Keep in the dark.

4.

Fresh flowers will last 1-3 days.

5.

Without flowers, it will keep for several weeks.

6.

Tip: The rose water can be prepared with a few pear pieces as well, which are discarded with the petals after boiling.
