- 18 ozs Linguine
- 2 ⅔ cups Cocktail tomatoes
- 2 ⅔ cups clam (scrubbed and ready to cook)
- 1 bunch Basil
- ½ cup Parmesan
- 3 Tbsps olive oil
- ⅜ cup white wine
- 1 clove garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- salt
- freshly ground Black pepper

Preparation steps
1.
Cook the linguine in boiling, salted water according to the package instructions, until al dente.

Wash the tomatoes and put into a roasting dish with the chopped garlic. Add the white wine, cover and bring to a boil. Add the clams, cover and simmer over a low heat for about 5 minutes, until the clams have opened.
3.
Meanwhile puree the basil (reserving a few leaves for the garnish) with the olive oil, Parmesan and a little of the pasta cooking water to make pesto.
4.
Add the drained pasta to the clams and tomatoes and mix carefully. Stir in the pesto and season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve garnished with basil.
